• Schedules and coordinates the efficient distribution of products in order to satisfy customer demand.
• Reviews and distributes production, work and shipment schedules.
• Analyzes and revises shipment plans as required.
• Works with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and accuracy of shipment records.
• Determines reorder points and ensures that sufficient levels of inventory are maintained.
• Analyzes actual product demand, trends and forecasts and adjusts inventory plans accordingly.
• Evaluates freight and ensures accuracy in count and prepares discrepancy reports in instances of damage.
• Performs random audit on various shipping invoices according to company policies and procedures.
• Compiles reports on progress of work, inventory levels, costs and production problems.
• Possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter.
• May provide leadership, coaching and/or mentoring to a subordinate group and may occasionally act as a "lead" or first level supervisor.

• Requires working knowledge of technical field/area of specialization.
• Exercises general application of principles, theories and concepts.
• Follows established procedures and guidelines.
• May periodically assist in orienting, training, assigning and/or reviewing the work of other peers.
• May require some limited judgement in resolving problems.
• Contacts are primarily with department supervisors, leads, subordinates, and peers.
• Frequent contact with external contractors/vendors.

Required:

• High school diploma/G.E.D or equivalent required, Associate's or technical degree preferred.
• 04-06 years related experience required.
• Regular and predictable on-site attendance

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

Salary Range: $31.05 - $33.46/hr
