Text Kevin is looking for a Medical Records Clerk to join our personal injury law firm.

We are Text Kevin, and our mission is to make injury claims easy for accident victims, together, through friendly, reliable, and transparent legal services.

Our clients have been injured in accidents and it is our job to help them go up against well‑funded insurance companies’ intent on denying, delaying, and defending legitimate injury claims.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Request relevant medical records and bills from various healthcare providers.

Ensure timely retrieval of medical records and bills to meet case deadlines.

Meticulously review medical records and bills for accuracy, identifying missing providers or dates of service.

Create and maintain a comprehensive medical index with provider information and dates of service.

Scan and organize medical records accurately into our shared database.

Communicate with third‑party payers, such as health insurance companies, Medicare, Medi‑Cal, Tri‑Care, etc., as needed.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

Strong knowledge of medical terminology and regulations governing medical records.

Strict adherence to confidentiality protocols, HIPAA compliance, and ethical standards.

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

Superior written and verbal communication skills.

Proven capability to work independently and in teams.

Conduct with a high level of discretion and respect for confidentiality.

Strong work ethic, dedication, and passion for client care.

Adaptability to changing situations and flexibility in planning.

Quick learning abilities and aptitude for acquiring new skills.
