Position SummaryThe Quality Operations Lead is responsible for providing real‑time quality oversight of manufacturing processes within a regulated manufacturing environment to ensure compliance with procedural and data integrity requirements. This role also provides operational leadership through work direction, issue of escalation, and independent decision‑making to maintain continuity of quality oversight.
This position reports to Ivonne Torres, Quality Supervisor III and will be fully onsite Sunday through Tuesday, with alternating Wednesday shifts from 6 AM to 6 PM. The shift pattern is 3/4 X 12.
Responsibilities- Perform process monitoring activities, including reinspection, sampling of reserve samples, and monitoring Quality Operations Programs in accordance with applicable procedures.
- Provide quality oversight of manufacturing operations to ensure compliance with internal procedures, regulatory requirements, and data integrity standards.
- Support quality investigations and assist in the resolution of identified quality issues in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
- Provide routine work direction, guidance, and training to Quality Operations Associates to ensure adherence to established inspection and process monitoring practices.
- Escalate manufacturing or quality‑related issues to the Quality Operations Supervisor as required to support timely resolution.
- Assume quality operations lead responsibilities to support real‑time manufacturing operations, including broad operational knowledge and independent decision‑making.
- Provide immediate escalation support on the manufacturing floor to ensure continuity of quality and manufacturing operations.
- Maintain quality oversight during active production activities, ensuring timely response to manufacturing issues.
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in a science‑related field preferred.
- 4–6 years of related experience required.
- Ability to work a non‑standard schedule as needed.
Salary range: $70,500.00 – $75,500.00 annually. Compensation decisions depend on skills, experience, licensing, certifications, and business needs. Benefits include healthcare coverage, a 401(k) plan, and tuition reimbursement.
