Position Summary
Support OTs in delivering exceptional patient care by focusing on therapy goals and patient progress. Use AI‑supported tools to assist in documentation, allowing more time for quality patient interaction.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with therapy sessions and monitor patient progress.
- Use AI technology to ensure clear and accurate documentation of sessions.
- Reduce administrative workloads and focus more on hands‑on care.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Occupational Therapy Assistant with an Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Two (2) years of experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in an acute care or rehabilitation setting.
- Preferred – 1 year in home health as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
- Active and unencumbered Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in state(s) of employment required.
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association required within 30 days of hire (vendor managed).
- California Occupational Therapy Assistant License required upon hire (vendor managed).
$33.40 – $41.25
Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentThe demands of this role necessitate a team member to effectively perform essential functions. Adaptations can be made to accommodate team members with disabilities. Regular standing, walking, and manual dexterity are fundamental, along with the ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds. Visual acuity requirements include close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Exposure to bodily fluids, infectious diseases, and conditions typical to the field is expected. Routine use of standard medical equipment and tools associated with clinical care is essential.
