Role DescriptionThis is a full‑time, in‑office role for a Human Resources Manager located in Irvine, CA. The Human Resources Manager will lead recruitment initiatives, oversee onboarding and training of personnel, manage employee relations, and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations. Responsibilities include coordinating with management to create effective HR strategies, handling performance management reviews, and supporting an inclusive and collaborative workplace culture.
Qualifications- Proficiency in Recruitment, Talent Acquisition, and Workforce Planning
- Experience with Onboarding, Employee Development, and Training Strategies
- Knowledge of multi‑state employment law, compliance, and HR Policies
- Familiarity with union and non‑union environments; experience with CBAs preferred
- Excellent Communication, Interpersonal, and Problem‑Solving Skills
- Prior knowledge or experience in the sports and entertainment industries is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proficiency in HR management software and MS Office Suite
- Comfortable with ambiguity in a rapidly evolving organization
- Solutions‑oriented; comfortable making hard calls in fast‑paced environments
- Strong conflict resolution and investigation skills
- Ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion
- Calm under pressure
- Bachelor’s degree required (HR, Business, Legal Studies, or related)
- SHRM‑SCP or SHRM‑CP/SPHR or PHR (preferred)
- Entertainment industry HR certifications (if applicable)
