Position: Director, Human Resources/ Senior Human Resources Manager

Akkodis is seeking a Director, Human Resources, for a Direct Hire job with our client located in Orange County, CA. (Hybrid).

Pay Range: $165,000 to $190,000;
The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Monday - Thursday

POSITION PURPOSE

The Director of Human Resources serves as the VPHR’s “deputy,” focusing on strategic operational excellence, organizational risk management, and the Company compliance with HR-related legal and regulatory requirements. This role is primary responsible for the strategic direction, security, and integrity of the HRIS, as well as for the comprehensive oversight of employee policy adherence and foundational compliance training delivery. The Director will provide direct daily management, mentorship, and strategic alignment to the HRIS Specialist, the HR Generalist (Employee Experience), and the L&D Training Coordinator, ensuring the smooth, compliant, and integrated operation of these core functions.

ESSENTIAL

FUNCTIONS AND MAIN DUTIES
  • Strategic HR Compliance & Enterprise HR Risk Ownership (Primary Focus)
  • HRIS and Operational Strategy
  • Executive Team Partnership & Functional Management
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in human resources, management, psychology, or related discipline; relevant education and experience accepted in lieu of degree.
  • HRCI, SHRM-CP, or PHR Certification is required.
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management or director-level role focused heavily on HR compliance, HRIS, and operational leadership.
Core Requirements:
  • ADP Implementation SME:
    Extensive experience leading or heavy involvement in implementations.
  • HRIS & Compliance: A technical powerhouse who understands the regulatory landscape.
  • VP Support:
    The candidate must possess the professional maturity to align with my strategic vision and emulate my leadership style.
