We are seeking a highly driven Agent Recruiter with deep expertise in outbound recruiting to join our fast-paced team in the credit card processing / merchant services industry. This role is ideal for a proactive sourcing professional who thrives on building pipelines through direct outreach, cold calling/emailing, and assertive networking—particularly within the ISO (Independent Sales Organization) and Agent Channel. You will own full life cycle recruiting for ISO Agent Channel related to credit card processing, with a heavy emphasis on proactive, outbound talent sourcing to attract top performers from the payment’s ecosystem.
Responsibilities- This is a hands-on position where success is measured by your ability to deliver quality hires quickly in a competitive industry landscape.
- Execute full life cycle recruiting from requisition intake through the pre-offer stage.
- Serve as an outbound recruiter / hunter, proactively sourcing and engaging passive talent through personalized outreach (cold emails, Linked In messaging, phone calls, and other channels).
- Leverage Linked In Recruiter daily for Boolean searches, advanced filtering, pipeline building, InMail campaigns, and relationship nurturing in the merchant services space.
- Build and maintain robust talent pipelines specifically targeting professionals in the credit card processing, merchant acquiring, payments, and fintech sectors.
- Partner closely with hiring managers and business leaders to understand role requirements, define ideal candidate profiles, and develop targeted sourcing strategies tailored to the ISO/agent channel dynamics.
- Screen resumes, conduct initial phone/video interviews, assess candidate fit for high-performance sales environments, and present strong qualified candidates.
- Manage interview coordination, feedback loops, negotiation, sign-ups and close agents in a competitive market.
- Stay current on industry trends, competitor landscapes, and talent movement within the payments/merchant services sector to inform proactive recruiting efforts.
- Contribute to employer branding initiatives targeted at the ISO/agent community to enhance our appeal to top talent.
- 3+ years of full life cycle recruiting experience in a corporate or agency environment.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience sourcing with Linked In Recruiter (advanced search techniques, InMail strategy, pipeline management).
- Proven track record as an outbound-focused / hunter-style recruiter — comfortable with high-volume cold outreach and direct candidate engagement (no reliance on inbound applications alone).
- Knowledge and recruiting experience in credit card processing, merchant services, payments industry, or closely related fintech sectors.
- Familiarity with the ISO/agent channel, including recruiting for roles involving independent sales agents, ISOs, residual-based sales professionals, and merchant acquiring/sales teams.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage senior-level and passive candidates effectively.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously.
- Working onsite in Irvine, California is required.
