Essential Duties & Responsibilities Talent Acquisition

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for open positions.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand business needs and develop effective recruiting strategies.
  • Manage all aspects of the recruiting process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer development, and onboarding.
  • Develop proactive talent pipelines for critical and difficult-to-fill positions.
  • Manage external recruiting agencies and negotiate recruiting agreements and fees.
  • Monitor recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, candidate quality, source effectiveness, and offer acceptance rates.
  • Enhance the candidate experience and employer brand.
  • Partner with hiring managers to improve interviewing effectiveness and selection decisions.
Employee Relations & Manager Support
  • Serve as the initial HR advisor to managers on employee relations matters.
  • Conduct workplace investigations and document findings and recommendations.
  • Assist with coaching and guidance regarding performance issues, corrective action, conflict resolution, workplace conduct, and employee concerns.
  • Partner with managers to address performance concerns in a timely, fair, and legally compliant manner.
  • Support accommodation requests, leave-related matters, and other employee support initiatives.
  • Assist with terminations, reductions in force, and other sensitive employee actions.
  • Identify workplace trends and proactively recommend solutions.
Performance Management & Talent Development
  • Support performance management processes and annual review cycles.
  • Support implementation and ongoing administration of the company's performance management platform.
  • Assist with training managers on effective goal setting, feedback, coaching, and performance documentation.
  • Monitor completion rates and quality of performance reviews and employee goals.
  • Assist with talent reviews, and employee development planning.
  • Partner with managers to identify learning and development opportunities for team members.
  • Support employee engagement and retention initiatives.
HR Programs & Organizational Effectiveness
  • Partner with the Vice President of Human Resources to implement talent and organizational initiatives.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, programs, and best practices.
  • Support employee onboarding, integration, and new hire experiences.
  • Participate in compensation, job evaluation, and market benchmarking projects.
  • Assist with employee communications and change management efforts.
  • Support company culture and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Leverages AI enabled HR Technologies and tools to enhance operational efficiency, support data driven decision making and elevate the employee experience.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects.
Compliance & Risk Management
  • Maintain knowledge of federal, state, local, and applicable international employment laws.
  • Support compliance initiatives across multiple states and the UK office.
  • Ensure recruiting, employee relations, and performance management practices remain legally compliant.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and documentation.
  • Assist with audits, reporting requirements, and HR compliance projects.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing full-cycle recruiting.
  • Experience conducting employee relations investigations.
  • Strong knowledge of California employment law and multi-state HR practices.
  • Experience advising and coaching managers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent judgment, discretion, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
