Temporary HR Generalist

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Manage day-to-day staff personnel and payroll actions for the Student Health Center and subsidiary clinics.

• Serve as the central point of contact and coordinator for all department HR, payroll, and personnel inquiries.

• Maintain accurate employee personnel files, payroll records, and statistical HR data.

• Provide professional guidance and policy interpretation to supervisors and managers to resolve routine to moderately complex HR issues.

Required:

• 3 to 5 years of human resources experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).

• Solid understanding of core human resources practices, payroll administration, and workplace policy application.

• Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage confidential records and statistical data accurately.

• Proven interpersonal and communication skills to effectively advise managers and support staff.

• Ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions in English.

Preferred:

• Experience using UCPath and Time Reporting System (TRS).

• Familiarity with UC Learning Center (UCLC) training administration and tracking systems.

• Prior experience working within a healthcare, clinic, or higher education environment.

Pay Rate: $31.47/hour
