RoleSummary
Rivian is embarking on an adventurous journey to transform its End-to-End Supply Chain Planning processes and systems. We are actively looking for a Supply Chain Planning Solutions Engineer who is skilled at developing Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS) solutions in Kinaxis Rapid Response (Kinaxis Maestro), O9, Blue Yonder, SAP IBP or any other Supply Chain Planning system. This role will be located in either Palo Alto or Irvine, CA, Normal, IL or Atlanta, GA and report to our Sr.
Manager, Supply Chain Systems.
- Develop a good functional understanding of Rivian’s S&OP processes including Demand planning, Supply Planning and Fulfillment planning to enable APS systems development and optimization.
- Understand the data model and workflows within Rivian’s Rapid Response (Maestro) solution implementation and propose/implement strategies to optimize and enable better S&OP processes.
- Author and maintain complex workbooks and worksheets in Kinaxis Rapid Response (Maestro) as per business requirements.
- Design and implement inbound and closed-loop outbound data integrations between Kinaxis and enterprise systems including ERP, PLM and several home-grown solutions.
- Analyze, design and develop various integration architectures, file-based (using Data Transfer Client) and/or Kinaxis APIs for scalability and performance.
- Develop and maintain data transformation scripts and procedures within Kinaxis Rapid Response (Maestro).
- Define and manage role-based user/group accesses to enable streamlined S&OP processes.
- Develop and implement processes to manage several Kinaxis Rapid Response environments, including package deployments and upgrades in collaboration with Kinaxis.
- 7 to 10 years of hands-on experience on Kinaxis Rapid Response (Maestro), O9, Blue Yonder, SAP IBP or any other Supply Chain Planning system, authoring workbooks, understanding of system architecture & data model, developing data integrations and scripts within the Planning system to maintain data flows and views.
- Strong functional understanding of S&OP processes and overall Supply Chain domain.
- Ability to work collaboratively across different organizational units to define processes and solutions.
- An inquisitive mindset that always challenges status quo and asks why.
- Good understanding of database query/SQL and Planning Data Quality Management concepts.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
Salary Range for this role is $149,700 - $187,100 for California-based applicants. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, and organizational needs.
The successful candidate may be eligible for annual performance bonus and equity awards.
