What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a Dev Ops engineer eager to design, build, test and maintain our cloud computing services. Our engineers consider ITrust

Capital’s entire IT infrastructure when making changes and improvements.

In this role, you should be able to identify manual processes that can be automated. You should be a team player and excellent communicator. You are also passionate about Dev Ops with a commitment to perfection.

What You Will Do
  • Work as part of a team to ensure our cloud network is responsive to user demands.
  • Architect, build, test, and maintain cloud computing services.
  • Scale cloud services to serve our growing business.
  • Assist with deployment of cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Engineer network changes.
  • Enhance ITrust

    Capital's IT infrastructure security protocols.
  • Advance the Dev Ops platform by researching and evaluating new technologies.
  • Work as part of a team, which will include other Dev Ops Engineers, a project manager, QA professional, and a designer.
  • Complete two-week sprints and participate in sprint retrospectives and daily standups.
  • Be part of a community of Dev Ops Engineers who share knowledge and help each other as problems arise.
What We Want
  • 3+ years of professional experience working with Dev Ops.
  • 4+ years of professional Azure Cloud experience.
  • Meaningful experience working on large, complex systems.
  • Experience with Azure cloud computing services.
  • Familiarity with Azure Dev Ops best practices.
  • Experience with database management.
  • Experience with various operating systems (Windows, Mac OS, and Linux).
  • Familiarity with networking and security.
  • Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes.
  • Scripting skills or experience in Power Shell/bash.
  • Familiarity with Redis.
  • Familiar with latest .Net Core versions.
  • Remain up to date with the terminology, concepts and best practices for Dev Ops.
  • Ability to take extreme ownership over your work. Every day is a challenge to ensure you are performing to the expectations you and your team have agreed upon, both regarding estimates and the general process.
  • Ability to identify with company goals and dedicate yourself to delivering on the commitments you and your team make to them.
  • A positive mindset and can-do attitude with a willingness to mentor others.
  • Forensic attention to detail and great problem-solving skills.
  • A passion for software development. It’s not just your career, it’s also your hobby. You’re constantly striving to learn new things and improve. You follow industry news, regularly tinker with new technologies, and read books and blogs to keep your skills current.
  • You work well within a team environment and enjoy working in the office with your colleagues.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills to communicate strategy.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with container orchestration services, especially Docker.
  • Experience administering and deploying development CI/CD tools such as Git, Jira, Git Lab, or Jenkins.
  • Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service.
  • Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline).
  • Monitoring the processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and updating or creating new processes for improvement and minimizing waste.
