Job Description & How to Apply Below

Golf Daddy is redefining how golf is played and learned through real-time simulation, AI coaching, and mobile-first product experiences. Joining now means shaping core systems at a high-velocity, profitable startup that’s scaling globally. You’ll work directly with senior engineers, creators, and product leaders, and have meaningful ownership over features used by hundreds of thousands of players.

The Role

We’re looking for a Full-Stack Product Engineer who can take features from concept → schema → API → UI → production. This role sits at the intersection of engineering and product: you’ll build backend systems, user-facing experiences, and the connective tissue between them.

You’ll work across our coaching platform, mobile app, and video workflows, owning features end-to-end and shipping fast in a serverless environment.

What You’ll Build Product & User Experience
  • User-facing product features across web and mobile surfaces
  • Coaching workflows (assignments, feedback loops, progress tracking)
  • Subscription and entitlement flows tied to real usage
  • Internal tools and admin dashboards for coaches and operations
  • REST APIs (Lambda-ready, documented, Zod-validated)
  • Auth systems: JWT, refresh tokens, RBAC, optional 2FA
  • Notification pipelines (push, in-app, scheduled jobs)
  • Shopify integrations and external service webhooks
  • Analytics and event tracking pipelines
Ownership
  • Take features from initial spec to production release
  • Make tradeoffs between speed, quality, and scalability
  • Collaborate closely with product, design, Unity, and ML teams
What You Need
  • 3+ years experience as a full-stack or backend-heavy product engineer
  • Solid Postgre

    SQL experience (schemas, queries, migrations)
  • Experience building and shipping REST APIs in production
  • Comfort owning features end-to-end (backend + frontend)
  • Strong product instincts: you think in user flows, not just endpoints
  • Ability to work independently and move fast in a startup environment
Nice to Have
  • Startup or early-stage product experience
  • Video or media processing workflows
  • Analytics or event-driven architectures
  • Incredible product taste and decision making ability
  • 401(k)
  • Daily team lunches
  • Weekly team building events (including golf outings)
