Job Description - Senior Solutions Architect – Strategy Team (Multi-Cloud & Dev Ops)

Blue Ally is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect for our Strategy Team who excels in representing the entirety of the Blue Ally portfolio, including Data Center Compute & Storage, Networking, AI, Data, Cybersecurity, Managed Services, Professional Services, and more, with a strong emphasis on Dev Ops practices and multi-cloud environments. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable across these solutions and primarily interact with SMEs and customers/prospects to help close deals, focusing on automation, CI/CD pipelines, and seamless integration across platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, while still positioning the full breadth of Blue Ally's capabilities.

• Collaborate with the sales team to identify and understand customer needs and technical requirements across the full Blue Ally portfolio, with particular depth in Dev Ops and multi-cloud contexts.
• Design and propose comprehensive solutions that incorporate Dev Ops methodologies, multi-cloud architectures, and the broader portfolio (compute/storage, networking, AI, data, cybersecurity, managed/professional services) to meet customer objectives.
• Spearhead complex deals involving Dev Ops transformations, multi-cloud migrations, or strategic initiatives requiring coordination across multiple Blue Ally practice areas; delegate to or team with other Solutions Architects when appropriate.
• Develop and deliver compelling presentations, demonstrations, and proofs-of-concept showcasing Dev Ops tools, multi-cloud strategies, and integrated portfolio solutions.
• Craft messaging for C-suite, IT, and line-of-business stakeholders emphasizing the strategic business value of Blue Ally’s full portfolio, with special focus on Dev Ops-driven efficiency and multi-cloud flexibility.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and developments in Dev Ops, containerization, orchestration, multi-cloud technologies, and emerging areas across the Blue Ally portfolio.

• Education
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Knowledge & Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a Solutions Architect or similar role, with hands-on expertise in Dev Ops and multi-cloud environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to architect solutions across multiple domains (compute/storage, networking, AI, data, cybersecurity, managed/professional services).
  • Experience in presales or similar roles working with clients on Dev Ops implementations, multi-cloud strategies, and broader portfolio engagements.
  • Proficiency with major Dev Ops tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git Lab, Terraform, Ansible) and multi-cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel to customer and company locations as needed.

  • CI/CD pipeline design and automation strategies.

  • Containerization and orchestration with tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

• Portfolio-Wide Integration
  • Ability to design end-to-end solutions combining Data Center Compute/Storage, Networking, AI, Data, Cybersecurity, and Managed/Professional Services.
  • Experience aligning Dev Ops and multi-cloud strategies with broader modernization, security, and operational outcomes.
  • Proven track record of positioning managed and professional services to complement technical solutions.

  • Propose AI-driven automation for Dev Ops processes and multi-cloud operations.
  • Map business needs to AI-enhanced monitoring, deployment, and optimization patterns.

  • End-to-end security assessments and Dev Sec Ops  pipeline integration.
  • Secure access, identity management, and zero-trust principles across multi-cloud environments.
  • Compliance-driven architectures for regulated industries.

• 40-hour week and availability during standard office hours.
