About the JobThe Sr. Solutions Architect plays a critical role in operationalizing Taco Bell’s data‑driven marketing and loyalty ecosystem — ensuring consistent data flow, reliable activation, and technical enablement across all customer engagement channels.
This role bridges key capability gaps between Data Engineering, Marketing Operations, and AI Enablement by designing scalable solutions across the Customer Data Platform (CDP), Customer Engagement Platform (Braze), AI Decisioning (Offer Fit/Braze AI Decisioning), and Loyalty Platform (Byte/Marigold). As both a strategic architect and hands‑on technical contributor, this position defines integration standards, governance, and activation frameworks while supporting day‑to‑day campaign and loyalty offer execution at scale.
TheDay-to-Day
Design and maintain end‑to‑end architecture connecting Taco Bell’s CDP, Customer Engagement, AI Decisioning, and Loyalty platforms to support personalized engagement and activation at scale.
Define and document integration standards (APIs, event schemas, data contracts, identity and consent signals), ensuring data quality, interoperability, and compliance.
Partner with Engineering teams (Mobile, Middleware, Data Engineering, and Quality Engineering) to translate solution designs into reliable implementations—owning the design/enablement layer while Engineering owns performance, reliability, and delivery.
Serve as a hands‑on technical SME for CRM and Loyalty activation (email, push, in‑app, SMS, offer constructs): data mapping, segmentation logic, connected content, QA/UAT, scheduling readiness, and post‑deployment learnings.
Establish governance standards for data definitions, taxonomy, and campaign enablement patterns to reduce ambiguity, improve reuse, and accelerate delivery across squads and partners.
Enable personalization and automation by supporting decisioning logic and AI Agent workflows (e.g., QA and Composition Agents) that improve campaign quality and marketing efficiency.
Lead cross‑functional alignment with Lifecycle Marketing, Loyalty, Analytics/BI, and vendor partners (Braze, Offer Fit, Stitch, etc.) to unblock delivery and improve platform maturity.
Coach and mentor junior team members; may manage 1–2 direct reports depending on team needs and operating model.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
7+ years of experience in marketing technology architecture, customer data integration, digital solutions design, and/or CRM/lifecycle marketing operations within a complex enterprise environment.
Hands‑on expertise with Customer Engagement Platforms (Braze preferred), including segmentation, orchestration workflows (Canvas), Content Cards/In‑App Messages, and channel execution patterns.
Working knowledge of CDP architecture, API/middleware integration patterns, identity and consent management, and data governance practices.
