Smartsheet Project Manager

Insight Global is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Smartsheet Project Manager to support and enhance our Smartsheet-based project management environment. This role serves as the primary owner of the platform, driving optimization, scalability, and alignment with established project management methodologies. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to support a large, diverse portfolio of projects while ensuring data accuracy, efficiency, and usability.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Smartsheet System Administration

• Configure, customize, and maintain Smartsheet solutions to support evolving business and project needs.

• Implement and enforce security controls to safeguard sensitive project data.

• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal functionality.

• Leverage advanced Smartsheet capabilities, including (but not limited to) Control Center, Data Shuttle, Data Mesh, Work Apps, and reporting dashboards.
Project Management Support

• Partner with the Project Management Office to design and implement Smartsheet-based project plans, schedules, and dashboards.

• Provide technical guidance and best-practice support to project teams using Smartsheet.

• Develop standardized templates and processes to promote consistency across projects.

• Create and manage automated workflows and alerts to improve project efficiency.

• Build and maintain project reports and dashboards for leadership and stakeholders.
User Training and Documentation

• Develop and deliver training for new and existing Smartsheet u .

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user guides, training materials, and process documentation.

• Provide ongoing user support and troubleshooting assistance.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all Smartsheet-related questions and support needs.
Process Improvement and Optimization

• Identify opportunities to improve workflows and processes through effective use of Smartsheet.

• Analyze project data to deliver insights and recommend process enhancements.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design new or enhanced Smartsheet solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Administration, Project Management, or equivalent related experience.

• Proven experience as a Smartsheet Project Manager or Administrator, preferably within a project management environment.

• Strong understanding of Smartsheet features and functionalities, including advanced features such as Control Center, Data Shuttle, Data Mesh and API integrations.

• Experience with project management methodologies and best practices.

• Experience in a service, construction or technology environment.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Smartsheet certifications are highly desirable.
