Overview
Title: Security Architect
Contract Length: 12 months
Location: Fully Remote (Company Based in Irvine, CA)
Role
Summary:
The Security Architect is a senior technical expert responsible for designing secure systems and integrations for MNAO. This role ensures that security is an integral part of MNAO's technology architecture, inherently embedding Security-by-Design principles from the foundational stages.
Designs secure systems and integrations for MNAO.
Provides security requirements for MNAO's projects and solutions.
Ensures data security considerations are embedded in all designs, and interfaces with MNAO's data platform team to align on secure data architecture.
Designs architectures that support rapid and secure recovery, contributing to MNAO's business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
Aligns with MNAO's Enterprise Architecture Review Board (EARB) and participates in project architecture reviews.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in security engineering and architecture.
Proven experience designing secure architectures for cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), applications, and infrastructure.
Strong understanding of enterprise architecture and Security-by-Design principles.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CSSLP, or SABSA.
Reports to: Architecture, Cloud, and Engineering Lead
