We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Commercial Furniture Designer with a strong background in furniture design
. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of hands-on design experience and a passion for developing innovative, market-ready products. This role is based on-site in our Irvine, California office
, where you’ll collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, supply chain, and marketing teams to bring products from concept to launch.

• Design and develop innovative furniture or garage storage products from concept through production.
• Conduct trend research and market analysis to identify opportunities and inform design direction.
• Create detailed 2D and 3D renderings, CAD drawings, and prototypes for presentation and development.
• Collaborate with the R&D and engineering teams to ensure design feasibility and production efficiency.
• Participate in materials selection and liaise with suppliers to ensure quality and cost targets are met.
• Assist in managing product life cycles, including improvements and updates to existing designs.
• Support marketing and merchandising teams with product visuals and specifications.
• Evaluate market performance of designs and adjust features or designs based on customer feedback and sales data.

• 2+ years of experience in furniture design or garage/industrial product design.
• Proficient in CAD software, 3D modeling tools (e.g., Solid Works, Rhino, Sketch Up), and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creative design thinking and product execution.
• Understanding of design for manufacturability and cost-effective production.
• Excellent communication and project coordination skills.
• Ability to work full-time on-site in Irvine, California (relocation required before start).
• Knowledge of material sourcing, construction techniques, and manufacturing processes is a plus.
