LHH is currently partnering with a company in Irvine to help them find their next Sr. IT Support Engineer. This role will play a key role in a growing managed services environment. This is a hands-on, high-impact position for someone who enjoys balancing project-based work with advanced troubleshooting and client-facing support. You’ll work across multiple client environments, owning everything from infrastructure improvements and cloud initiatives to complex escalations and technical guidance for the broader team.

Candidates must be ok working onsite 5 days a week!

Key Responsibilities
  • Designing and delivering infrastructure, cloud, and security solutions across diverse client environments
  • Serving as a senior escalation resource and resolving complex technical issues end to end
  • Supporting Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra , networking, backups, and security tooling
  • Function as the Tier 2/3 escalation resource across all managed client environments
  • Partnering directly with client stakeholders during high-priority or sensitive situations
  • Mentoring junior engineers and helping raise the technical bar across the team
  • Creating and maintaining clear standards and documentation to ensure consistency and quality
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in IT support or service desk environments
  • Prior experience in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment strongly preferred
  • Advanced knowledge in firewall administration, network design, and troubleshooting
  • Experience with ITSM platforms (e.g., Service Now, Connect Wise, Jira Service Management)
  • Strong working knowledge across Microsoft 365, Active Directory/Entra , endpoint management, NOC, networking fundamentals
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities across diverse client environments
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills
  • CompTIA certifications are highly preferred
