AI Engineer (Applied/Software), Cloud Computing, Systems Engineer
We're hiring Solutions Architects / Applied AI Engineers to join one of the fastest growing teams in AWS, working with the ISVs that are defining the future of enterprise software. As part of the ATLAS organization, you'll partner with strategic ISVs who are driving the agentic transformation across every vertical, industry, and geo. These companies are building the tools that millions of developers and enterprises rely on daily, and they're doing it on AWS.
This role spans the full breadth of ISV coverage, from helping customers modernize and scale their existing platforms on AWS to architecting the next generation of AI‑powered and agentic applications. You'll be the trusted technical advisor to some of the most innovative software companies in the world, helping them architect, build, and scale their solutions from proof of concept to production.
You'll go deep on the technologies reshaping how software is built, deployed, and operated.
- Serve as the primary technical partner to strategic ISVs across the ATLAS portfolio, guiding them from early experimentation through production‑scale deployments
- Help ISVs optimize, migrate, and scale their core platforms on AWS, spanning compute, storage, databases, networking, and security
- Design and validate architectures spanning the full stack, from foundation model integration to agentic workflows, orchestration, evaluation, and observability
- Roll up your sleeves on POCs, prototypes, and pilots, then help customers operationalize them into production‑grade systems
- Help customers design and implement multi‑agent systems, tool use patterns, agent orchestration, memory and state management, and human‑in‑the‑loop workflows
- Own the technical roadmap for your accounts, identifying opportunities to deepen adoption across the full AWS stack, including AI/ML, data and analytics, infrastructure, security, networking, and governance
- Work directly with AWS service teams to influence the roadmap based on real customer needs. Your feedback drives what gets built next
- Publish blogs, present at conferences, and create reusable architectures that raise the bar across the field
ATLAS ISVs sit at the center of transformation, reshaping every industry by embedding agentic AI into the software that enterprises run on every day. You'll work with the companies building the future, and the tools they build are used by millions. You'll architect, build, prototype, and ship alongside your customers, with work that directly influences AWS product direction. You're joining a growing team that's expanding with momentum, executive sponsorship, and a clear mission.
You'll work on multi‑agent systems, evaluation frameworks, and production patterns that most teams are still reading blog posts about.
- Experience communicating across technical and non‑technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients
- Experience designing and building agentic AI applications: multi‑agent systems, tool use, orchestration frameworks, and evaluation pipelines
- Strong understanding of AI/ML observability, evaluation, and monitoring in production environments
- Ability to architect end‑to‑end solutions that address security, governance, networking, and cost optimization
- Experience working with open‑source AI/ML frameworks and tools (Lang Chain, Llama Index, CrewAI, Auto Gen, Strands, or similar)
- Excellent communication skills. You can whiteboard with engineers and present to executives with equal confidence
- Experience with AWS services such as Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Bedrock Agent Core, Amazon Sage Maker, AWS Lambda, Amazon ECS/EKS, and AWS networking/security services
- Track record of taking cloud workloads or AI/ML workloads from POC to production at scale
- Experience working with ISVs or enterprise software vendors
- Contributions to open‑source projects, technical blogs, conference talks, or published architectures
- Experience with AI infrastructure: GPU/accelerator architectures (NVIDIA, Trainium, Inferentia), distributed training, model serving, and inference optimization
