Principal Functional Analyst – Oracle Cloud Fusion Finance / OVC

Location:

Irvine, CA. Hybrid (3 days/week). Relocation available.

Job . Full Time (Permanent role).

Salary: $150,000/year (actual compensation range: $130,000 - $150,000 per year).

• Lead Oracle Cloud Financials implementations and enhancements (GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management, Expenses, Project Financials).
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for OVC / Oracle Cloud Finance.
• Configure and manage financial modules, including Chart of Accounts, Ledgers, Subledger Accounting (SLA), and Accounting Hub (FAH).
• Perform data migration and integration using FBDI, ADFdi, OIC, REST/SOAP APIs.
• Develop financial reports and dashboards using BI Publisher, OTBI, and Smart View.
• Manage role-based access (RBAC) and maintain data security for finance users.
• Support UAT, testing, and end-to-end process validation during implementations and upgrades.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, IT, Project Management) to ensure process alignment, compliance, and automation.
• Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and knowledge transfer.

• Deep expertise in Oracle Cloud Financials / Fusion modules: GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management, Expenses.
• Strong functional knowledge of accounting processes, intercompany accounting, and compliance.
• Hands‑on experience with OIC integrations, FBDI/ADFdi data loading, and API-based automation.
• Expertise in financial reporting tools: OTBI, BI Publisher, Smart View.
• Familiarity with security model: RBAC, data access sets, user provisioning.
• Strong experience in system configuration, testing, and UAT.

• Exposure to global implementations and multi‑entity setups.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion Accounting Hub (FAH) and subledger configurations.
• Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Computer Science.

Relevant Oracle Cloud certifications are a plus.

$130,000 - $150,000 per year.
