Our client is looking for a Senior Integration Developer to join their team. The Senior Integration Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions that connect enterprise systems and applications, with a strong focus on Oracle Fusion ERP integrations. This role emphasizes leveraging Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Mule Soft, and broader middleware technologies to optimize business processes and enhance overall efficiency.
The Senior Integration Developer will lead the design and implementation of integration workflows, manage middleware platforms, and ensure seamless data flow across disparate systems. By leveraging expertise in APIs, enterprise service buses, and integration platforms, you will contribute to best practices and play a key role in driving technical innovation across ERP-centric architectures.
This role will involve working directly on Oracle Fusion integration initiatives, requiring strong experience in Oracle ERP, OIC, and enterprise data flows, alongside modern integration platforms such as Mule Soft and other cloud technologies to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement integration solutions using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Mule Soft, and other iPaaS platforms across enterprise cloud and on-premise systems.
- Lead integration efforts specifically supporting Oracle Fusion ERP modules (Finance, SCM, HCM), ensuring reliable and scalable data exchange.
- Oversee the full API lifecycle, from designing and developing RESTful APIs to testing, monitoring, and optimizing for performance and scalability.
- Build and maintain integrations using Oracle Fusion web services (SOAP/REST), FBDI, OTBI, and event-driven frameworks.
- Create reusable API assets, connectors, and OIC integrations to accelerate development and standardize integration patterns.
- Work closely with third-party vendors and integration partners to integrate external applications into Oracle ERP and enterprise ecosystems.
- Monitor integration performance across OIC, Mule Soft, and other middleware platforms; troubleshoot and optimize system efficiency.
- Collaborate with business analysts, ERP functional teams, and architects to define technical requirements aligned with Oracle Fusion capabilities.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to IT peers on integration best practices, especially around ERP integrations and OIC design patterns.
- Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including integration specifications, data flow diagrams, and support guides.
- Stay current with emerging technologies in cloud integration, Oracle ERP, and API-led connectivity, and drive continuous improvement.
Education and Experience
- 5+ years of experience in integration development with strong exposure to enterprise ERP systems and APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion ERP integrations and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
Knowledge and Skills
- Extensive hands-on experience with Mule Soft Anypoint Platform (API design, development, deployment).
- Strong experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), including orchestration, adapters, and ERP integration patterns.
- Solid understanding of Oracle Fusion ERP architecture, including modules such as Finance, SCM, or HCM.
- Experience integrating with Oracle Fusion using:
- Experience with API-led connectivity and middleware architecture across hybrid environments.
- Strong proficiency in web services (REST, SOAP) and data formats like XML and JSON.
- Familiarity with API security best practices (OAuth, JWT, etc.) and enterprise security principles.
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture (Pub/Sub, Kafka, Rabbit
MQ). - Experience with EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and protocols (AS2, SFTP, FTPS).
- Experience with version control tools (Git Hub, Bitbucket).
- Strong data integration skills (mapping, transformation, database queries).
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure).
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in complex integration and ERP environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with business, ERP functional, and technical teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications in Mule Soft, Oracle Integration Cloud, or cloud platforms are a plus.
Nice to Have
- Experience with manufacturing or enterprise systems such as ERP, PLM, SCADA, or IoT.
Salary: $130,000- $170,000 per year (depends on experience level).
