Position: ITS Project Coordinator Intern

Job Description

Parsons has an Internship opportunity for an ITS Project Coordinator that will assist our Information Technology Services (ITS) team in planning, executing, and tracking technical projects. You will gain hands‑on experience in project life cycles, coordinate team meetings, maintain project documentation, and help ensure our tech initiatives are delivered on time and within scope.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Support:
    Assist the ITS Project Managers in developing project plans, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Meeting Coordination:
    Schedule stakeholder meetings, prepare agendas, record detailed meeting minutes, and track action items to completion.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
    Maintain, organize, and update project documentation, including project statuses, risk logs, and resource schedules.
  • Communication:
    Act as a liaison between various ITS sub‑teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure everyone is aligned.
  • Process Improvement:
    Help document standard operating procedures and identify areas to streamline project workflows.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Education:

    Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Technical Aptitude:
    Foundational understanding of IT concepts (e.g., software development, network infrastructure, or cybersecurity).
  • Software

    Skills:

    Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello, or Asana).
  • Soft Skills:

    Exceptional organizational and time‑management skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Communication:
    Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently interact with technical and non‑technical teams.
What You Will Learn
  • Real‑world application of Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies in a fast‑paced corporate IT environment.
  • Direct mentorship from certified Project Management Professionals (PMP).

Salary: $22.93 - $40.14
