Position: Data Analyst - Analytics
Location: 100% onsite in Irvine, CA (Only local candidates will be considered)
Terms: Direct-hire
Compensation: $38.00 to 42.00 per hour (DOE).
Benefits: Annual discretionary bonus + benefits + 3 weeks PTO
Partnered with a client who is hiring an experienced Data Analyst to support the customer experience team by delivering actionable insights that improve customer service performance, on-time delivery, and operational efficiency.
This is a unique, business-facing analytics role where you will combine technical expertise (Power BI, Excel, ERP, CRM systems) with strong business acumen and communication skills to influence decision-making.
Key Responsibilities- Data Analysis & Insights
- Analyze customer service metrics (order fulfillment, backlog, on-time delivery, queue performance, expedite requests)
- Identify trends and translate findings into actionable recommendations
- Ensure data integrity and validate sources
- Reporting & Dashboards
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports
- Deliver ad hoc and recurring insights to leadership and cross-functional teams
- Continuously improve reporting and identify gaps/opportunities
- Operational Support
- Monitor backlog and delivery risk; proactively flag issues and recommend mitigation
- Partner with customer experience, sales, and operations teams
- Understand end-to-end order flow from entry to reporting
- Business Contribution
- Fulfill reporting requests from leadership
- Proactively identify new metrics, trends, and improvement opportunities
- Recommend dashboards, enhancements, and process improvements
- Bachelor s degree in Analytics, Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field
- 3+ years in data analytics or similar role
- Advanced Power BI and Excel skills
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and CRM platforms
- Strong analytical, data validation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to clearly communicate insights and challenge assumptions
- Background working with data in customer service, sales, or order management
