Our direct client is looking for Oracle Principal Functional Analyst - Idea to Market (PLM) to join the team on a full-time direct hire.
Location & Work Arrangement: 3 days a week on site, Irvine, CA. Salary: $150k - $185k and great benefits. Full‑time direct hire.

The Principal Functional Analyst – Oracle Idea to Market (PLM) will lead the end‑to‑end implementation and ongoing management of Oracle Idea to Market (PLM) initiatives with cross‑functional interactions across tracks like O2C, S2P, R2R, H2R. The role will be responsible for the entire delivery of systems solutions: requirements, fit‑gap assessment, solution designs, configurations, business process flow setups, implementation, cutover, validation, and operational maintenance of PLM track modules and custom extensions, ensuring they are tightly aligned with both the Oracle Fusion platform and business processes.
Responsibilities- Lead end‑to‑end Oracle PLM implementation and ongoing management of PLM initiatives across functional tracks.
- Act as the functional SME for the PLM track, collaborating closely with business stakeholders and cross‑functional teams.
- Translate business needs into robust, efficient system solutions; coordinate with development tracks and SI partners.
- Lead the product roadmap aligned with industry best practices and emerging technology advancements.
- Design and implement solutions across the PLM track, including custom extensions and apps.
- Define business process cycles and related cross‑module/external interfaces and integrations.
- Build system solutions using CEMLI (configurations, extensions, modifications, localizations, and integrations).
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand systems and processes, and establish a continuous engagement cadence.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and reviews with stakeholders; coordinate UAT, system validation, and production deployments.
- Identify inefficiencies, recommend improvements using standard Oracle functionality, and create functional solutions.
- Govern business enhancement backlog, documenting, and delivering enhancements in a timely manner.
- Maintain documentation, compliance, and data governance; create business flow diagrams, configuration documents, and training materials.
- Follow SDLC/Agile methodologies; create and track user stories from initiation to closure, including test scenarios.
- Enforce data governance policies and ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor incidents, manage licenses, and maintain platform stability and performance.
- Administer platform optimization, operational maintenance, and license management.
- Ensure platform scalability; assess releases and perform timely upgrades.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience with Oracle ERP applications, with a strong understanding of platform functionality and cross‑functional integrations.
- 3+ years of experience as an Oracle Fusion Functional Analyst, including functional and technical capabilities.
- Experience with Oracle Fusion implementations in the manufacturing vertical; at least two full‑cycle implementations (preferred) and at least one covering the PLM process area.
- Ability to travel up to 2%.
- Certifications:
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundations (preferred).
- Advanced, hands‑on experience in Oracle Fusion implementation, development, and maintenance.
- Deep knowledge of Oracle PLM process cycle, reporting, and analytics (OTBI, BI Publisher, FBDI).
- Experience with Oracle platform development tools: PL/SQL, VBCS, Postman, Redwood UI.
- Understanding of data mapping and transformation for migrations from legacy and non‑Oracle systems.
- Proven success delivering full lifecycle Fusion projects using Agile, SAFe, or modern delivery frameworks.
- Strong cross‑functional collaboration, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to keep abreast of Oracle Fusion platform innovations and recommend adoption.
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
