Location & Employment
This role is being done onsite Monday through Friday in Irvine, California. It is a permanent role with full benefits and does not sponsor immigration. Only candidates with permanent authorization to work in the U.S. (U.S. citizens or Green Card holders) are considered.

We are seeking a Linux Administrator who owns the build, configuration, and deployment process. The position involves working with Kubernetes & Ansible, and benefits from a solid Windows Administration background (AD, Exchange, etc.).
Key Responsibilities (First 90 Days)- Updating & managing the entire update and deployment environment.
- General deployments, baselining with Ansible, and updates through Ansible.
- Fine‑tuning gaps in the build, configuration, & deployment process.
- Monitoring, maintenance, installation, upgrades, and end‑user support on Windows Domain servers and related hardware & software infrastructure across multiple sites.
- Support Linux workloads on virtualized hyperconverged and cloud platforms.
- Perform account creation and maintain PAM configurations.
- Apply OS updates and security patches at both the individual server level and cluster level.
- Create and maintain documentation, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides.
- Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are backed up to the appropriate media and that media is recycled.
- Manage Office 365 tenant: assign licenses, enable/disable features, troubleshoot issues, and perform compliance reviews.
- Enroll and manage devices in the MDM solution.
- Create documentation supporting administrative duties in a centralized shared location.
- Undertake project work—install new Windows and Linux‑based systems, servers, and services for specific uses and purposes.
- At least 5 years of System Administration experience, with a breadth of experience; ideally as the sole Sys Admin.
- At least 4 years of Linux OS and Linux Administration experience.
- Experience with delegation and security group strategies to support least privilege access control and auditing policies.
- Experience with DHCP, File and Storage, Print and Document, Remote Desktop, Volume Activation, Web Server, and Windows.
- Experience owning the build & deploy process, including Kubernetes & Ansible.
