Role Overview

AWS Global Sales seeks a Customer Solutions Manager (CSM) to help customers realize sustained business value by accelerating their transformation journey to the AWS cloud. The CSM designs and executes strategic migrations and cloud‑native solutions, working across sales, architecture, support, product development, professional services, and partners.

• Work backwards from customer objectives to design and execute end‑to‑end frictionless cloud adoption experiences.
• Earn trust across customer organizations, identify strategic opportunities, uncover use cases, establish roadmaps, capture success criteria, orchestrate technical architectures, and establish governance.
• Lead and drive execution excellence for the end‑to‑end cloud journey, spanning technical, operational, organizational, and educational aspects.
• Use technical acumen, program management, organizational change management, and communication skills to solve problems, challenge the status quo, and align multidisciplinary teams.
• Serve as a thought leader with strategic business mindset, leveraging AWS best practices and industry‑leading solutions.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years leading large‑scale technical or engineering programs with proven record of thought leadership, business case development, and successful program completion.
• 2+ years of customer‑facing work, engaging with executives, technologists, or partners to solve business problems with advanced technologies.
• Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, math, business, or equivalent.
• Experience leading technical and non‑technical transformation teams across broad functional groups.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, SCRUM/Agile, or SAFe certification.
• Experience implementing cloud services, including migrations and modernization projects.

Salary ranges:
• Santa Monica, CA – $153,600 – $207,800 USD annually
• New York, NY – $169,000 – $228,600 USD annually. Compensation may include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units.
