Key Responsibilities
- Architect AWS networking using VPC, Transit Gateway, Private Link, Cloud Front, and Global Accelerator
- Design and integrate hybrid and SD-WAN architectures using BGP and OSPF
- Implement and manage network security using IAM, KMS, and third-party virtual firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet)
- Automate network provisioning and operations using Python (Boto3) and Bash
- Lead migration of multi-tier legacy applications from on-premises to AWS-native architectures
- Ensure network designs meet security, availability, performance, and compliance requirements
- Review and approve network architectures and changes
- Deep expertise in AWS networking services
- Strong understanding of routing protocols and virtualized cloud networking
- Hands-on experience with network security tools and firewalls
- Advanced automation and scripting skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 8+ years of enterprise networking experience, including 5+ years in AWS cloud architecture
