100% onsite in Irvine, CA.
Terms:
Contract-to-hire. Compensation:
Up to $75 per hour W2 only.
Partnered with a client who is a fast-growing semiconductor distribution and brokerage company undergoing a major digital transformation. The organization is implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (with Dynamics CE) as its global ERP platform to modernize operations, finance, supply chain, and reporting.
Role OverviewSeeking a functional Project Manager to lead implementation, configuration, and ongoing ownership of Business Central. This is a highly tactical role-not purely managerial-focused on working directly within the system, driving adoption, and serving as the key liaison between business users, IT, and the implementation partner.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end D365 Business Central implementation in partnership with CIO and steering committee
- Perform hands‑on configuration across Finance, Supply Chain, Inventory, Sales, and Purchasing
- Act as primary point of contact for implementation partner; manage scope, issues, and alignment
- Drive requirements, data migration, CRP, UAT, and go-live readiness
- Serve as internal SME, advising on system capabilities, configuration, and process optimization
- Oversee system performance, troubleshooting, enhancements, and governance standards
- Support post-go‑live operations, user training, and adoption
- Coordinate integrations with CRM, analytics, and external systems; ensure data accuracy and reporting reliability
- 5+ years of hands‑on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central experience
- At least 1 full implementation of Business Central (Supply chain module)
- Strong functional expertise across modules and workflows
- Proven ability to bridge business and technical teams
- Experience working directly with implementation partners
