About the Role

Provide IT help desk support to office‑based and remote employees, addressing all IT functionality needs.

Responsibilities
  • Answer questions or resolve computer problems for employees in person, via telephone, email, or remote tools for external employees.
  • Assemble, install, repair, and update laptops, desktops, mobile equipment (Apple iPads and iPhones), and peripherals.
  • Monitor network connectivity and systems, proactively resolving problems.
  • Install and configure client software.
  • Provide training to staff on the use of office technology.
  • Work with other sites on integration and other network issues.
  • Monitor and manage all help‑desk tickets in a timely and service‑oriented manner.
Training

All employees must have received general training in the quality requirements of Össur as part of onboarding and new‑employee orientation. Specific quality training is job‑specific and follows the Training Management Process (QM1681).

Qualifications
  • At least two years of experience with PC hardware, printer troubleshooting.
  • Support for Windows 7, 10, and 11, and Office 365.
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory services, group policy, and VPN technologies.
  • Support for Citrix Workspace.
  • Strong customer‑service and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to learn new software applications quickly.
  • Experience with Windows Terminal Server and/or Citrix.
  • Demonstrated understanding of customer and business needs.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience with ERP, warehouse, and/or manufacturing systems.
  • Contact‑center experience.
  • Telephony/PBX experience.
  • A+, Network+, MCP certifications.
  • Mobile IT equipment service experience (Apple iPads and iPhones).
Preferred
  • ERP, warehouse, and/or manufacturing experience.

Physical Requirements

Employees may need to sit or stand as needed, walk primarily on a level surface, reach above shoulder height, reach below the waist, and lift as required to file documents or store materials. Lifting up to 25lb is occasionally required. Proper lifting techniques are required.

Compensation

The U.S. base pay range for this full‑time position is $31.46–$38.88 plus benefits and bonus. Pay is determined by role, level, location, and other factors such as experience and education. The displayed range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new‑hire pay rates. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors. Compensation details listed here reflect base salary only and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.
