Position: Network Support

Network Support Technician (Contract) | Irvine, CA | $40-$48/Hour

Looking for your next IT contract opportunity? Pay: $40-$48/hour

Schedule:

Onsite, Monday-Friday

Location:

Irvine, CA
Position Type:
Contract (Month-to-Month)

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco network switches and related infrastructure
  • Support network upgrades, equipment refreshes, and migration projects
  • Provide support for VoIP and telephony systems, including Cisco Call Manager (CUCM)
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity, cabling, and hardware issues
  • Support conference room technology, audiovisual systems, and collaboration tools
  • Manage and resolve IT support tickets through Service Now
  • Coordinate with vendors on installations, maintenance, and upgrades
  • Document technical issues, resolutions, and system changes
  • Deliver onsite technical support to end users and business stakeholders
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in Network Administration, Network Engineering, or IT Infrastructure Support
  • Experience supporting Cisco networking environments
  • Knowledge of switching, routing, VLANs, and network troubleshooting
  • Experience with Cisco Call Manager (CUCM), VoIP, or telephony systems
  • Familiarity with Service Now or similar ticketing platforms
  • Strong problem‑solving, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently in an on‑site support role
