Principal Oracle Fusion PLM Functional Analyst - Idea to Market (PLM)
Full‑time direct hire.
Irvine, CA
. Salary: $150k – $180k with benefits. Works 3 days a week onsite. Relocation assistance available and visa sponsorship open.
- Lead end‑to‑end implementation and ongoing management of Oracle Idea to Market (PLM) initiatives across cross‑functional tracks (O2C, S2P, R2R, H2R).
- Gather requirements, conduct fit‑gap assessment, design solutions, configure modules, set up business process flows, execute implementation, cutover, validate, and maintain PLM track modules and custom extensions.
- Serve as primary SME for PLM, collaborating with business stakeholders and cross‑functional teams to translate needs into efficient system solutions.
- Coordinate with development tracks and SI partners to deliver stable, scalable, user‑friendly Oracle solutions.
- Lead product roadmap aligned with industry best practices and emerging technology advancements.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and surveys; manage UATs, system validation, and production deployments.
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements using standard Oracle functionality; develop functional solutions.
- Maintain documentation, compliance, and data governance – system designs, process flows, configuration documents, training materials.
- Monitor platform operations, optimization, stability, and maintenance – manage licenses, system health, and scalability.
- Plan and execute upgrades and patch sets.
- Collaborate with consultants, SI partners, and business stakeholders; influence and drive consensus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
- 8+ years of experience with Oracle ERP applications/implementation; strong understanding of platform functionality, cross‑functional integrations, and process cycles.
- 3+ years of experience with Oracle Fusion platform (functional and technical).
- At least two full‑cycle Oracle Fusion implementations in manufacturing vertical (preferred); at least one covering PLM process area.
- Expertise in Oracle Fusion PLM – configuring, extending, localizing, and industry modules (Product Development, Product Hub, Quality Management, Innovation Management, Procurement, Sourcing, Supply Chain Planning, Order Management).
- Advanced technical skills – PL/SQL, VBCS, Postman, Redwood UI, data mapping, migrations, OTBI, BI Publisher, FBDI.
- Experience with implementation methodologies (OUM, AIM, SDLC, Agile, SAFe) and documentation (requirements, design, user stories, test scripts).
- Knowledge of platform optimization, upgrade management, and innovation assessment.
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Ability to travel up to 2%.
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundations (preferred).
