Required Technical & Functional Skills
Extensive architectural expertise across Java, .NET, TIBCO ESB, and distributed enterprise systems.
Strong experience in application discovery, dependency mapping, and service analysis.
Knowledge of backend systems:
Oracle 19c, Oracle Exadata on AWS, SQL Server.Familiarity with hosting environments:
Windows Server 2016–2025, RHEL 7–9.Proficient in assessing cloud readiness, migration complexity, and modernization opportunities.
Strong understanding of network, integration, authentication, and storage dependencies.
Skilled in creating HLDs, LLDs, sequence diagrams, integration maps, and migration assessments.
Experience with CI/CD, configuration management, cloud-native design, and application performance tuning.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify migration risks and gaps.
Ability to collaborate effectively with infrastructure, DB, cloud, and security teams.
Hands‑on experience with AWS services: EC2, ALB/NLB, EBS, EFS, FSx, S3, IAM, and VPC design.
Understanding of connectivity patterns for Oracle Exadata on AWS and multi‑tier applications.
Familiarity with AWS migration tools: MGN, DMS, SCT.
Ability to define observability, monitoring, and operational models post‑migration.
Awareness of modernization options (e.g., EKS, ECS) for evolving application stacks.
Lead end‑to‑end application discovery, dependency mapping, and readiness assessments.
Document integration flows, database dependencies, API calls, schedulers, and ESB interactions.
Define cloud migration blueprints for rehosting, replatforming, and modernization strategies.
Align technical approaches with infrastructure, network, database, middleware, and cloud architects.
Develop cloud deployment architectures for EC2 workloads and supporting services.
Assess performance baselines, OS/runtime compatibility, and optimization requirements.
Review application code and architecture patterns to ensure cloud suitability.
Produce runbooks, migration playbooks, architectural diagrams, and transition documents.
Support cutover waves, validating application behavior and integration continuity.
Provide governance and oversight across all stages of the migration lifecycle.
