, based in Irvine, California.
As a strategic leader, you will guide the development and execution of high‑impact cross‑functional commercial initiatives, driving data‑driven decision‑making, optimizing operations, and enhancing the organization's capabilities through advanced analytics, reporting and insights.
Key Responsibilities- Define and execute the organization’s Business Intelligence roadmap aligned with business goals.
- Partner with commercial functions to drive alignment, planning and execution of the most impactful projects.
- Turn ideas into concrete projects with tangible benefits on time, implementing sustainable, scalable solutions.
- Create executive dashboards and self‑serve analytics focused on market signals and competitive performance.
- Translate complex data into clear stories for executives and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Present insights and recommendations to the organization, including field and commercial leaders.
- Build and mentor a cross‑functional team of analysts fostering curiosity and accountability.
- Oversee projects, dashboards and analytics, ensuring data quality, scalability, cost efficiency and drive process improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Business Administration, Finance or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 7+ years in BI, commercial operations, sales operations or data analytics, including 3+ years in leadership roles preferably in commercial or engineering.
- Expert storyteller who translates complex data into actionable insights for executives.
- Entrepreneurial, proactive, confident, able to influence decisions at the highest level.
- Ability to zoom in and zoom out effectively using data‑driven methods.
- Gather competitive intelligence and create viable actions.
- Proficiency in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau), data warehouses, data management platforms.
- Strong understanding of database management, SQL and trends in big data analytics.
- Deep expertise with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Forward think with AI/LLM in commercial space.
- Preferred:
Experience with Python, SAP, Maximo, SaaS.
- Travel required up to 30%.
