SummaryThe EDI Associate Analyst provides operational support for Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes and integrations across customers, vendors, logistics providers, and internal business teams. This role is responsible for monitoring EDI transactions, investigating and resolving EDI‑related issues, supporting trading partner onboarding activities, performing data analysis, and assisting with testing and implementation efforts. The Associate Analyst works closely with business stakeholders, EDI analysts, IT teams, and external partners to ensure accurate and timely exchange of critical business documents.
This role is in Customer Service.
- Monitor daily EDI transaction activity and identify failures, exceptions, and data discrepancies.
- Perform initial troubleshooting and analysis of EDI issues related to purchase orders, invoices, advance ship notices (ASNs), inventory, and other business documents.
- Support onboarding and maintenance of trading partner relationships and EDI connections.
- Assist with configuration, testing, validation, and deployment of EDI maps, specifications, and documentation.
- Collaborate with business teams, customers, vendors, carriers, and technical teams to resolve transaction and data integration issues.
- Track, document, and communicate EDI incidents, enhancement requests, and project activities.
- Review transaction logs and business data to ensure compliance with trading partner requirements and internal business processes.
- Create and maintain process documentation, mapping specifications, testing results, and support procedures.
- Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT), regression testing, and EDI implementation projects.
- Analyze trends, recurring issues, and transaction metrics to recommend process improvements and increase operational efficiency.
- Provide backup support for EDI Analysts and assist with day‑to‑day production support activities.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to troubleshoot data, process, and transaction issues in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience working with Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting.
- Understanding of EDI concepts, standards, and business document flows preferred.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, supply chain processes, order management, logistics, or customer operations is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
- EDI transaction sets such as 856 Advance Ship Notice (ASN) and 846 Inventory Advice.
- Knowledge of ANSI X12, EDIFACT, or similar EDI standards preferred.
- Experience with EDI platforms, managed services, integration tools, or ticketing systems preferred.
- Basic understanding of data mapping, file formats (XML, CSV, flat files), and system integrations.
- The company is required to do Capital Markets Accuracy.
- All trades must be performed with capital quality.
- Trades must be registered in Mand.
- All accounts must be KYCed.
- All tradebook information must be fed into regulator.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 0–2 years of experience supporting EDI, business systems, supply chain operations, data analysis, customer operations, or related business processes.
- Internship, academic project, or professional experience involving EDI, data integrations, ERP systems, or business process analysis is a plus.
