AWS Cloud Infra Architect

Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Design end-to-end cloud infrastructure architectures for high availability, scalability, security, and performance.
• Strong exposure on Compute/Storage/Networking/Serverless/LB/Autoscaling/Cloud Monitoring & Logging components.
• Evaluate and recommend cloud services, tools, and technologies.
• Lead infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (Terraform, Cloud Formation, etc.).
• Architect networking solutions including VPC design, routing, private connectivity, and hybrid integrations.
• Have good understanding of various virtualized networking components on Cloud.
• Architect resilient systems with DR, backup, and fault-tolerance strategies.
• Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
• Establish guardrails for cloud usage, cost control, and operational excellence.
• Provide architectural guidance and technical mentorship.
• Review designs, participate in architecture boards, and approve infrastructure changes.
• Monitor usage trends and recommend cost optimization strategies.
• Deep expertise in at least one major cloud provider (AWS preferred).
• Strong understanding of high availability, DR, and scalability patterns.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
