AWS is seeking Data Center Technicians to support customers in multiple locations. The role requires reporting to a site location and may involve primary responder rotations, on-call duties, and work during evenings, weekends, and holidays to maintain data center reliability. Candidates should work effectively both independently and with a team, prioritize tasks, communicate clearly, and be capable of installing equipment, creating documentation, and solving problems in the data center space in a 24/7 environment.
Travel within and outside regional work areas is required. A reliable personal vehicle and valid driver’s license are necessary as company transportation is not provided.
Note:
Some site locations are within AWS Gov Cloud regions with access restrictions. Eligibility may require U.S. citizenship for Gov Cloud access in certain regions. All candidates must have work authorization without employer intervention.
Physical requirements are expected with reasonable accommodations, including regular lifting, travel among sites, and exposure to 24/7 environments.
Position may include the ability to participate in an after-hours primary responder rotation to ensure service availability.
In addition to hardware and network repair, responsibilities include installing equipment, documenting work, and contributing to process improvements.
All candidates should be prepared for shift work (days/nights/weekends/holidays) and travel within the regional work area as needed.
