Role SummaryAmazon Web Services is looking for an experienced professional to help customers migrate workloads to the cloud, focusing on identity and access management across workforce and customer identities, and securing generative AI applications.
Key Job Responsibilities- Design and build workforce and customer identity capabilities independently with Amazonians, partners, and customers.
- Provide security expertise and support for customers implementing generative AI technologies, ensuring secure and compliant deployments.
- Design and build solutions to automate security, risk, and compliance on AWS.
- Develop high-quality technical artifacts such as automation tools, reference architectures, and white papers to help customers, partners, solution architects, and consultants build secure solutions.
- Convey cloud computing security, risk, and compliance best practices to AWS customers.
- Collaborate with other AWS teams to influence and drive adoption of security, risk, and compliance products.
- Mentor AWS sales and solutions architecture teams regarding security to build field skills.
- Represent AWS at trade events by delivering security presentations and workshops.
- Travel as required (up to 20%).
The AGS Security Solutions Architecture team is a trusted partner to some of AWS's largest and most security‑conscious customers. The work spans boardroom strategy, hands‑on architecture reviews, and publishing guidance that strengthens the security community. The team leads with prescription, stays ahead of fast‑moving threats, and handles senior security conversations with customers.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications- 8+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics.
- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience with applications and infrastructures.
- 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industry.
- Experience communicating across technical and non‑technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders.
- Experience in a customer‑facing role engaging with customer executives, technologists or partners to solve business problems with advanced technologies.
- Master's degree or higher in computer science, computer engineering, or related field, or experience in STEM.
- Hands‑on technical expertise designing and implementing security for AI and agentic workloads.
- Expertise designing solutions for single sign‑on services with IAM platforms such as Okta, Active Directory, Entra , AWS Cognito, and others.
- Hands‑on experience with identity standards (SAML 2.0, OAuth 2, OIDC) and modern security principles (zero trust, MFA, passwordless).
