An established B2B SaaS company is seeking an SEO Specialist to take full ownership of organic search for the organization.
This individual will own keyword strategy, on-page and technical optimization, and help build out the company's emerging AI/generative search presence. This is a dedicated specialist seat with real autonomy - not one of several responsibilities split across a broader marketing role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Own organic search end-to-end: keyword research, on-page and technical SEO
- Monitor site performance and analytics, tracking and reporting on what's working
- Stay current on search engine algorithm updates and competitor SEO strategy
- Partner with marketing and development to ensure SEO best practices are implemented
- Help build out the company's AI/generative search (GEO) approach as the function matures
- 2+ years of dedicated, hands-on SEO experience - not general marketing experience
- Proficiency with SEO/analytics tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, or similar)
- Ability to independently own SEO from strategy through execution
- Curiosity about AI/generative search is a plus
- Own organic search for an established company with no layoffs through any downturn, including COVID
- Report directly to the Marketing Director on a growing team (3 to 10 people over 8 years)
- Help shape the company s AI/generative search strategy from the ground up
- Clear growth path toward SEO Manager or AI Manager
