SUMMARYResponsible for supporting producers and account managers in processing new business, renewing existing business, and day-to-day account services for clients. Serves as an advocate for clients and their employees through positive relationships with carriers and continuous education.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Provides administrative support and customer service;
- Creates census files for proposals and renewing business;
- Processes individual and group applications;
- Composes general correspondence with clients and carriers;
- Interacts with clients to respond to inquiries concerning service accounts;
- Maintains a professional relationship with clients and carrier representatives through exceptional customer service;
- Coordinates appropriate resources to address the client's management needs;
- Complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information on a timely basis);
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Two (2) or more years related work experience
- Encouraged to complete Career Path requirements as communicated by supervisor including obtaining Group 1 licensing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Customer service skills, including telephone and listening skills
- Problem solving and time management skills
- Critical thinking and good judgment to quickly determine and prioritize key issues
- Ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork
- Ability to prioritize work for multiple projects and deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
