UC Irvine Libraries seeks a limited-term translator to translate from Vietnamese into English and from English into Vietnamese for the Viet Stories oral history collection. Under supervision, the translator reviews Vietnamese transcriptions and English translations produced by a vendor, adds diacritics and keywords for descriptive records.
This is a 40% time role (about 16 hours per week) and includes opportunities to support community outreach in Orange County, promoting access to the Viet
