Job Description
Moet Law Group, APC is looking for a Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join our growing practice in our Irvine office.
We are seeking an attorney with 4+ years of experience, including trial work. The ideal candidate is resourceful, a good problem solver, and organized. Assuring a steady completion of workload in a timely manner is key to success in this position. The ability to multitask, while maintaining complex schedules and managing administrative support, is essential.
The Litigation Attorney will handle a variety of personal injury cases at all stages of litigation, including trial preparation, depositions leading to trial, complicated settlements, and in‑court jury and bench trials, representing plaintiff clients in Irvine, Orange County, CA, and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities- Represent clients in cases involving product liability, premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, and other personal injury matters.
- Draft and file litigation documents, including pleadings, discovery requests and responses, demands, motions, and memoranda of law.
- Guide plaintiff clients through the entire case process.
- Interact with expert witnesses, including conferences, drafting of expert reports and affidavits.
- Attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances on behalf of plaintiffs.
- Handle cases from responsive pleadings to trial.
- Propound and respond to discovery.
- Review and summarize medical records.
- Conduct depositions of plaintiffs, witnesses, and experts.
- Attend court hearings, draft complaints ranging from basic motor vehicle accidents to complex premises and assault cases.
- Prepare for trial, including motions, special verdict forms, jury instructions, and other related tasks.
- Take and defend depositions, including those of plaintiff and experts.
- Research and draft motions and oppositions, including motions for summary judgment, demurrers, and discovery‑related motions.
- Draft complaints ranging from basic motor vehicle accidents to complex premises and assault cases.
- CA State Bar License (Required).
- Litigation experience of 4+ years (Required).
- Active membership in good standing with the California Bar Association.
- Ability to manage a high volume of litigation cases and take them to trial.
- Previous experience supervising a team of paralegals.
- Excellent client service and communication skills.
- Self‑starter driven by long‑term career goals.
- Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.
- Spanish speaker is a plus.
