Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal

Job Description

MOET LAW GROUP is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to assist with all aspects of plaintiff’s personal injury cases. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage a fast‑paced litigation caseload from filing through trial preparation.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and general document management tools.

Must be familiar with legal calendaring principles (CCP, CRC, and FRCP), including calculating deadlines and maintaining attorney calendars.

Must have experience with e‑filing in state and federal courts (ECF, One Legal, and other court portals).

Experience in personal injury litigation is required.

Ability to independently handle tasks such as drafting discovery, propounding and responding to written discovery, preparing subpoenas, drafting basic motions, and organizing exhibit binders.

Experience requesting, tracking, and summarizing medical records, bills, and treatment.

Strong knowledge of litigation timelines, including service of process, propounding discovery, expert designations, MSC prep, and trial deadlines.

Familiarity with case management systems (e.g., Casepeer, Clio, Litify, or similar).

Ability to communicate professionally with clients, defense counsel, experts, and medical providers.

Strong understanding of personal injury damages, liens, and treatment workflow (chiropractic, ortho, pain management, imaging, etc.).

Ability to manage high-volume caseloads and prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.

Excellent writing, proofreading, and organizational skills.

Certificate from an ABA‑accredited paralegal program.

Two or more years of civil litigation experience (primarily personal injury), but all qualified candidates will be considered.

Trial preparation experience is a plus (trial binders, witness lists, exhibit lists, jury instructions, etc.).

Experience preparing settlement demand packages or supporting attorneys with mediation and arbitration preparation is a plus.
