We are partnering with a reputable law firm in Santa Monica seeking an experienced litigation legal assistant to join their team! Please review the requirements and apply!
This position is responsible for providing administrative support to multiple attorneys and other timekeepers in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice group. It requires a confident, proactive professional with solid administrative experience. The ideal candidate will possess superb organizational skills, the ability to handle a multitude of tasks simultaneously, adapt quickly to meet deadlines and regularly exercise independent judgment.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate travel arrangements and prepare itineraries.
- Schedule and coordinate in-office meetings.
- Manage busy calendars
- Prepare documents, transcribing, legal documetns and formatting.
- Assist preparing pleadings, discovery, settlement documents and contracts.
- E-File legal documents
- Prepare time entries for partners and other attorneys
- Collaborate with accounting for billing, expense reimbursements, and invoices.
TOP THREE THINGS:
- 4 years minimum litigation legal assistant experience.
- E-file and calendar hearings, mediations, trial, and deadlines.
- Advanced MS office suite skills (60 wpm)
Schedule:
Hybrid schedule 3 days on and 2 days remote. 9:00AM-5:30PM with 30 min lunch break.
