Civica Law has an immediate opening in its Irvine office for a mid-level, full-time attorney with civil litigation experience with emphasis in tort defense (with valid CA Bar license).

Our areas of practice focus on defending cities, counties, and other public entities in matters involving claims of dangerous condition, police liability and use of force, civil rights, and general liability.

Candidates must be adaptable and possess solid organizational, writing, and research skills, with exceptional attention to detail.

Candidates should be interested in taking and defending depositions, handling court appearances, legal writing, and conducting written discovery. Some knowledge of the Government Tort Claims Act is a plus. Most importantly, we seek a candidate who possesses a hard-working, positive, and service-oriented character, who wants to expand their civil litigation practice with a focus on representing public entities.
