Litigation Attorney

💰 $150K–$225K Base + Full Benefits

A respected and growing litigation firm is seeking a skilled Civil Litigation Defense Attorney to join their Irvine office. This is a strong opportunity for attorneys who enjoy hands‑on litigation, meaningful case ownership, and complex defense work.

Attorneys with experience defending public entities (cities, counties, police departments, etc.) will be highly valued.

• Handle civil litigation defense matters from inception through resolution
• Manage an independent caseload in a fast‑paced environment
• Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and dispositive motions
• Conduct and defend depositions
• Appear at hearings, mediations, and trials
• Develop and execute case strategy
• Work on matters involving:
• Public entity defense (major plus)
• Tort and mass tort defense
• Collaborate with partners and clients on litigation strategy

• Active California Bar license in good standing
• 3+ years of civil litigation defense experience
• Strong motion practice and deposition experience
• Background in tort or mass tort defense strongly preferred
• Ability to manage cases independently
• Excellent writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
• Comfortable working onsite in Irvine, CA

The annual salary for this position is between [$130000 – $225,000 annually]. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
