Senior Supply Planning Manager
The Senior Supply Planning Manager is a strategic and hands‑on leader responsible for developing and executing supply planning processes across Pro‑Dex's manufacturing operations. This role ensures the alignment of supply with customer demand, optimizes inventory levels, and drives cross‑functional collaboration to support service, cost, and delivery goals. You will lead supply planning, inventory strategy, and S&OP participation, while coaching a team and building scalable processes to support company growth.
Job duties include:
- Lead the end‑to‑end supply planning process, including capacity planning, production planning, and inventory optimization.
- Develop and manage master production schedules (MPS) aligned with demand forecasts and customer commitments.
- Drive Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes in partnership with Operations, Finance, and Sales leadership.
- Balance service levels, inventory investment, and operational efficiency through data‑driven decision making.
- Identify and mitigate supply risks, including material shortages, capacity constraints, and supplier performance issues.
- Manage and develop a team of planners, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with Procurement, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality to ensure seamless execution.
- Establish and monitor key KPIs (e.g., plan adherence, inventory turns, OTIF, backorders).
- Lead initiatives to improve planning systems, tools, and processes, including ERP/MRP optimization.
- Support new product introductions (NPI) and lifecycle transitions from a supply planning perspective.
Skills and qualifications:
- 812+ years of supply chain/planning experience, with progressive leadership responsibility.
- Strong experience in manufacturing environments (medical device or regulated industry preferred).
- Proven expertise in S&OP, MRP/ERP systems, and inventory optimization strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive cross‑functional alignment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
Education and experience:
A bachelor's degree in supply chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field (MBA or APICS certification preferred).
