Position Overview
Our client in Santa Ana is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to support day-to-day inventory operations and ensure accuracy across systems and processes. This role plays a key part in maintaining optimal stock levels, improving efficiency, and partnering closely with operations and supply chain teams.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels across the warehouse
- Perform cycle counts and physical inventory audits; investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Track inventory movement including receiving, transfers, and shipments
- Reconcile inventory data between systems and physical counts
- Analyze inventory trends and provide recommendations for process improvements
- Partner with purchasing, operations, and logistics teams to ensure product availability
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of inventory transactions
- Identify and implement process improvements to reduce loss and increase efficiency
- Support inventory system updates and data integrity
- 2+ years of inventory control, warehouse, or supply chain experience
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP a plus)
- Experience with ERP or inventory systems (SAP, Oracle, Net Suite, or similar)
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience in manufacturing or distribution environments
- Familiarity with cycle counting and audit processes
- High inventory accuracy and minimal discrepancies
- Timely resolution of inventory issues
