Inventory Control Specialist

Position Overview

Our client in Santa Ana is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to support day-to-day inventory operations and ensure accuracy across systems and processes. This role plays a key part in maintaining optimal stock levels, improving efficiency, and partnering closely with operations and supply chain teams.

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels across the warehouse
• Perform cycle counts and physical inventory audits; investigate and resolve discrepancies
• Track inventory movement including receiving, transfers, and shipments
• Reconcile inventory data between systems and physical counts
• Analyze inventory trends and provide recommendations for process improvements
• Partner with purchasing, operations, and logistics teams to ensure product availability
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of inventory transactions
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce loss and increase efficiency
• Support inventory system updates and data integrity

• 2+ years of inventory control, warehouse, or supply chain experience
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP a plus)
• Experience with ERP or inventory systems (SAP, Oracle, Net Suite, or similar)
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Experience in manufacturing or distribution environments
• Familiarity with cycle counting and audit processes

• High inventory accuracy and minimal discrepancies
• Timely resolution of inventory issues
