The SCM Associate Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating end-to-end supply chain activities across procurement, import operations, logistics, inventory management, and supply planning. The role partners with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, 3PL warehouses, and internal departments to ensure efficient purchasing, timely shipment execution, inventory accuracy, regulatory compliance, and continuous process improvement. This position requires strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while driving operational efficiency, cost control, and service excellence.

This is a fulltime, exempt position, fully on-site based at our Irvine, CA office.

• Manage purchasing activities including purchase order issuance, supplier communication, order confirmations, and delivery follow-up.
• Coordinate with suppliers to monitor pricing, lead times, minimum order quantities (MOQ), production schedules, shipment readiness, and overall supply availability.
• Monitor supplier performance management by resolving supply issues, monitoring service levels, and identifying opportunities to improve procurement processes and supplier relationships.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, PO tracking reports, supplier documentation, and procurement status updates.

• Support demand planning, supply planning, and forecasting activities by analyzing sales trends, inventory levels, customer demand, supplier capacity, and business requirements.
• Monitor inventory reports, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate corrective actions with 3PL warehouses and internal stakeholders.
• Identify potential inventory shortages, excess inventory, supply risks, and planning gaps, and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain inventory reports, planning trackers, supply status reports, and KPI dashboards to support operational visibility and decision-making.

• Oversee inbound import activities for ingredients and finished products, ensuring shipments align with sourcing, inventory, production, and customer requirements.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics with freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, suppliers, and 3PL warehouses to ensure timely product movement.
• Support and monitor U.S. import compliance activities, including ISF filings, Prior Notice, Customs Entry Filing, and related import documentation.
• Track shipment status, ETD/ETA updates, delivery schedules, and logistics exceptions; proactively resolve delays and documentation issues to ensure timely customs clearance and delivery.
• Support warehouse operations by reviewing inventory reports, monitoring warehouse performance, coordinating order fulfillment, and assisting with continuous improvement initiatives.
• Review freight, drayage, warehousing, customs, and logistics-related invoices for accuracy, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate resolution with vendors and Accounting.

• Maintain organized records for import/export documentation, purchase orders, shipment files, warehouse reports, inventory records, and logistics documentation to ensure operational accuracy and audit readiness.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports covering procurement status, shipment updates, inventory levels, warehouse performance, KPIs, and supply chain risks.
• Analyze procurement, logistics, inventory, and warehouse data to identify trends, root causes, cost-saving opportunities, operational risks, and process improvements.

• Collaborate with Sales, QA, Accounting, Operations, suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, and 3PL warehouses to ensure efficient end-to-end supply chain execution.
• Lead or support cross-functional problem-solving efforts related to supplier performance, shipment delays, inventory discrepancies, warehouse operations, scheduling, and urgent customer or business needs.
