Supervises daily customs brokerage operations and supports accurate, timely, and compliant processing of import entries. Coordinates workload, reviews entry quality, resolves operational issues, coaches team members, and escalates significant compliance or customer matters to management.
Responsibilities- Supervise daily entry, ISF, PGA, document review, and release-monitoring activities.
- Assign and balance workloads based on volume, priority, and service requirements.
- Review entry documentation, classification support, valuation, and PGA data for accuracy.
- Monitor rejects, holds, exams, missing documents, and aging shipments; coordinate timely resolution.
- Provide technical support for CBP and PGA inquiries, including CF28 and CF29 matters.
- Perform quality audits and ensure adherence to SOPs, customer instructions, and compliance controls.
- Coach team members, answer operational questions, and reinforce consistent work practices.
- Coordinate with customers, overseas offices, CBP, PGAs, carriers, and internal departments.
- Track operational exceptions and report significant risks or service issues to management.
- Prepare productivity, quality, backlog, and exception reports.
- Support onboarding, training, and cross-training of brokerage personnel.
- Assist with customer issue resolution and corrective-action follow-up.
- Participate in system testing, SOP updates, and process-improvement projects.
Travel requirement: 10% domestic travel
Compensation Range$74,500 - $84,000 Per Year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)

Skills- Strong knowledge of CBP regulations and customs entry operations.
- Experience with ACE/ABI, PGA filings, and entry-quality review.
- Leadership, coaching, and workload-coordination skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and escalation skills.
- Ability to make advanced decisions, provide problem-solving resolutions are required
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting skills.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma/G.E.D.
- 7-10 year of Customs Brokerage, Import Compliance, Freight Forwarding experience
- 1-3 management/supervisory experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- 7-11 years of Customs Brokerage, Import Compliance, Freight Forwarding experience
4-7 management/supervisory experience
- Customs Broker License
