This recruitment is for Temporary Custodian positions through UCI's internal temporary staffing department. This position can be based out of the UC Irvine campus or any UCI Health facility throughout Orange County and Southern Los Angeles County.

Under the supervision of the Sr. Custodial Supervisor or Assistant Custodial Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the routine cleaning of facilities. Incumbents perform unskilled or semi‑skilled cleaning, housekeeping, or general maintenance. These duties will include, but are not limited to, daily floor care, dusting, bathroom cleaning and sanitation, kitchen cleaning, cleaning of fixtures and furniture, interior trash removal, window cleaning, and additional tasks as necessary to ensure all facilities are maintained at a high level of cleanliness.

Performs individually or as part of a team. Incumbents may experience a varying degree of contact with the public depending on the nature, location and assigned hours of work.

Required:

• Previous custodial, housekeeping, or related cleaning experience.
• Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions in English.
